When you walk, do you count time, or distances? What’s the measure word for “far” and “near”? Is it hours, or miles? Is it seconds, or meters? And does it even matter? Can you walk so slowly that time actually catches up on you? And can you run so fast that you leave it far behind you?

my thoughts on time paces me as I run my races especially in the recent Adidas Sundown Half marathon race I did. Constantly, I felt I did not race against time. my targeted time. Time was ticking by yet at quicken speed. seconds turned into minutes and then time overshot. My targeted time far fetched. ...
For this kind of achievements, time is not of relevance; above all it's making the distance that matters. Time is only relevant when you were training and looked forward to that personal goal. Time is only relevant when you will look back on that day as a memory, something you can truly be proud of. Congratulations!
